The Redbird Academic Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for new freshman students. The award ranges from $1,000 to $4,000 per year, renewable for up to four years. Eligible students and award amounts are determined by the competitiveness of the applicant pool. The minimum credentials for the scholarship are an ACT score of at least 25 (or equivalent SAT) and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.
For best consideration for this scholarship, students should complete their application for admission during the preferred application filing period (September 1–November 15). No additional scholarship application is required.
Scholarship recipients will be notified on a rolling basis beginning in early December. Awards are offered as funds remain available. Your academic credentials must be verified by receipt of your official transcript and test scores no later than July 15. Your award will be automatically renewed each semester if you are enrolled as a full-time student (12 hours) and maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.75.
