This fund was established in 1995 in memory of John L. Baldini '41 by his family, his friends, and both political parties. Baldini served on Illinois State University's Alumni Board for 12 years, and was a founding member of the Redbird Club. He owned and operated the Lucca Grill in Bloomington and was active in the Democratic Party at the county and state levels for over 50 years. Baldini was respected by both political parties for his compassion and interest in others, for his honesty, and his positive impact on all with whom he interacted.
