Loans
Student Federal Loan Application
If you were not awarded a loan as part of your initial financial aid package and you now want to request a loan, or you were awarded a loan as part of your initial financial aid package but you want to request an increased amount. Check with the Financial Aid Office to determine if you have remaining loan eligibility.
Nursing Loan Personal Data Form
If you have been offered and accepted a Nursing Loan on your Offer Letter. This is not an application for the Nursing Loan; Nursing Loan eligibility is determined by your FAFSA.

If your FAFSA indicates you reported dependents other than your children or spouse who live with you and who receive more than half their support from you, July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.

Important Information about Summer Session 2023 Financial Aid
In order to receive summer 2023 financial aid, you must complete the 2022-2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
YOU SHOULD COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION IF:
- You are planning to attend at least half-time during the Summer Session 2023 (6 undergraduate credit hours or 3 graduate credit hours) AND wish to be considered for A Federal Direct Loan (you must have remaining eligibility for summer based on the table below).
The chart below illustrates the maximum amount you may borrow under the Federal Direct Loan Program during the award year, which includes summer.

If you have borrowed the maximum Federal Direct Loan amount for the 2022-2023 academic year, you will have NO Direct Loan eligibility for the Summer Session unless you have advanced a class level that increases your Direct Loan eligibility.
NOTE: Parents of a dependent student may request a loan under the Federal Direct PLUS Loan program. The parent borrower must go to the studentaid.gov website and follow the directions for applying for a PLUS loan.
NOTE: Summer aid will be processed based on the enrolled hours you submit on this application. Reduction of hours may cause a reduction in financial aid.
